About Us

AMES Australasia has been designing, manufacturing, and distributing a wide range of innovative products for homeowners and professionals in Australia and beyond for over 120 years. We combine our strong heritage with modern innovation to create a range of products suitable for the new gardener through to trade professionals.

Our heritage is deeply rooted in Australian soil.

It began in 1897 with the founding of the Westmoreland Pottery Works in Northcote and the establishment of Cyclone Fence and Gate Company the following year. By the turn of the century, Westmoreland chimney pots and drainpipes, and Cyclone gates and fencing graced homes and businesses throughout Australia.

Throughout the evolution of our company, all our brands continue to share the same proud heritage since the beginning. We will always be committed to making high-quality, innovative products for domestic and commercial work and living.

We know gardening so you'll know gardening.

We believe in the power of gardening. We commit our time, resources and knowledge to help Australians enjoy the well-being benefits of gardening.

We are dedicated to delivering outstanding value, innovation, quality and service to our customers, promoting the industries within which we work, and providing challenging and rewarding work for our employees in a safe, fun and high-performance environment.

We design, create and efficiently supply innovative products that help enhance the homes, landscapes and lifestyles of all our customers.
